🎿 Current Trail Status

Grooming: The east side of the trail was groomed this morning, including the figure-8 loop.

❄️ Snow Quality: Most sections are reported to be in great condition. However, parts of the figure-8 and some trail sections may still need additional snow coverage.

🧭 What This Means

✅ Trails are skiable — both classic and skate skiing are possible where groomed.

✅ Walkers are kindly asked to avoid stepping on the ski tracks.

✅ Great conditions for fat biking and snowshoeing.⚠️ Some thin spots, especially around the figure-8 loop — expect variable conditions.

⚠️ Snow is more icy than soft, so please ski with caution.

🌡️ Current Weather: Cold and mostly cloudy, with temperatures well below freezing (around –8 °C).

🌬️ Wind & Wind Chill: Breezy conditions make it feel colder than the actual temperature, especially in open areas and near the river.🧤 Please dress accordingly

The trail was groomed last night from P5 in the west all the way to Tweddle Road. Enjoy some great weekend skiing!

Ski Heritage East is holding our Annual General Meeting on Monday, Nov 17th at 7 :30p.m., at Stray Dog Brewing Company (501 Lacolle Way Unit 4). Please join us to meet the volunteers that keep the Trail operating for your winter enjoyment (and maybe to enjoy a Stray Dog beer).

Funding goal reached!

Great News! We have reached our goal of $10K and purchased a gently used Skandic 900 Ace.

Our team then made all the necessary grooming modifications themselves bringing the total cost to $12,000 instead of the $24K for a new machine. These guys are great!

Thank you to all of our Ski Heritage East friends that have generously donated to gofundme. We are very close to covering the total cost of the new machine. If you have not donated yet or would like to give a little more, please do so this week.
