We’re bringing winter recreation to Eastern Ottawa – whether you cross country ski, walk, fat bike or snowshoe, you can enjoy a community funded, professionally groomed trail from Tweddle Rd (Trim Road) to the Aviation Museum.

Sat Feb 17th: Dominion City Snow Day 2024 [11am – 5pm]

Save the date: On Saturday, February 17th Dominion City Brewing Co. will host their third annual snow day for Ski Heritage East!

Join us for what will be a great time! There will be delicious food, great beer, outdoor fire pits, music, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, fat biking, box hockey and groomed trails in the field near the brewery. Hope to see you there!

Sat Feb 24th: Moonlight Ski Au Clair De Lune [7pm]

Join us at the next full moon for a beautiful night-time ski with the Convent Glen – Orleans Wood Community Association! The community association is organizing an evening of skiing, hot chocolate and more for all community members. Everyone is welcome, there is no admission fee but all donations will be given to Ski Heritage East. The meeting point will be Roy G Hobbs Community Centre (109 Larch Crescent), where there is free parking and washrooms available. Please arrive 15 minutes early. The amazing Ski Heritage East Grooming Team has made another breakthrough in offering you the best winter recreation experience in eastern Ottawa.

The Pilot Project that extended the Trail west from the Aviation Museum to the Riverhouse has been a success and will become permanent. Though secondary to the trails east of the Aviation Museum, the extension of the trails from the Aviation Museum to the New Edinburgh Riverhouse will be groomed as frequently as our capabilities permit.
